The FORUM is a weekly study and discussion group that meets Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. in the Copper Chimney Lounge. Discussions in the FORUM are focused on current events, and each week we examine what faith looks like when applied to concrete situations.  The FORUM usually begins with a reading or video presentation to highlight a subject and moves to a discussion of it by the participants.

A new 12-week DVD-based study featuring two of the world's leading Jesus scholars, John Dominic Crossan and Marcus Borg addressing the historical Jesus and the kingdom of God begins March 4.

Living the Questions

Living the Questions - web (2).jpg

Living the Questions is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity. Starting up again April 9!  All are welcome.

The Gospel According to Harry Potter

The Gospel According to Harry Potter, led by Julie Bills, will be offered on Thursday evenings from April 12 – May 3. We will meet in Asbury Hall, starting with dinner at 6:00 p.m. The discussion will run from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., if you prefer to attend just for the study. This is a great time for families to talk together about Christian themes in the Harry Potter books and films. We will offer age-appropriate special activities for younger attenders. Please sign up on the Connection Card or contact the church office at 517-351-7030.
